PARKING - Belmont Station
- Permit: Lot H and spaces designated as Lot G along Burlington Ave. These spaces are free after 11:00 a.m.
- Daily: Lots J and K, portions of Lot H, portions of Lot G and numbered spaces on Chase Ave. The fee is $3 and can be paid at the machines located at the station. These spaces are free after 3:00 p.m.
- Overnight: With a valid permit, commuters may park in their lot overnight with police permission. Call 630.434.5600.
Reverse commuters parking overnight may park in spaces #497- #510, located on the north side of the tracks along Burlington Ave, west of Belmont, near Rose Ave. These space are free after 3:00 p.m., but must be paid for by 7:00 a.m. the next day (Monday-Friday) using the Pay By Phone option.
PARKING - Fees
- Parking Deck: Levels 3, 4, and 5 have a $3 daily parking fee, which can be paid on site at a machine.
- Commuter Lots ( A, B, C, D, F, G, H and I) require a daily permit when parking prior to 11:00 a.m. The fee is $3. Permits can be purchased at Public Works starting at 8:15 a.m. or Village Hall starting at 8:30 a.m.
- Daily Parking areas at the Belmont and Fairview Stations: (Belmont: Lots J, K and designated street spaces; Fairview Station: Portion of Lot I, marked spaces east of Florence Ave, and marked spaces north of the tracks and east of Fairview along Burlington) Numbered spaces in these areas are $3. Remember your space number and pay the machines at the station.
- Parking Meters: There are meters on Warren Ave, north of the tracks and east of Washington. The meters accept quarters, only. which registers one hour of time, fore a maximum of 12 hours. Meters must be fed Mon-Sat between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

RESIDENT: $120/qtr
NON-RESIDENT ( or unincorporated): $165
The cost is $25/qtr. Apply at Village Hall during business hours. Please bring proof of employment at a downtown business.
The cost is $195/quarter.
PARKING - Overnight
Parking on Village streets is not permitted between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., unless prior approval is obtained from the Police Department.
- Lot F (on the north side of the tracks along Warren Ave, east of Washington St.): An overnight parking permit must be purchased in advance at Village Hall, 801 Burlington Ave., during business hours. The fee is $6 per night. Customers are limited to a maximum of five nights of overnight parking per calendar month.
- Parking Deck Level 5: Friday and Saturday evenings only, with police notification. Call (630) 434-5600 or complete the online form. Be ready with your space number.
- Parking Deck Level 1: (Residents of the Downtown Business District, only, with permit). The fee is $195 per quarter.
- Commuter Lots with a valid permit may park in their lot overnight with police permission. Call 630.434.5600.
PARKING - Payments
Quarterly permits are issued for commuters, downtown employees and residents of the downtown business district. Payments can be made in person or through the Customer Self-Service portal.
- Purchase a one-day permit for $3 at the following locations:
- Village Hall, after 8:30 a.m. (Valid for parking in lots that serve the Main St. and Fairview Ave. stations.)
- Public Works, 5101 Walnut Ave., after 8:15 a.m. (Valid in lots that serve the Belmont Rd. Station.
OR
- If parked in a numbered space at any commuter lot, you can pay the fee at the pay station. Know your space number!
This option allows customers to bypass the pay stations and pay for their daily fee parking space by phone. Main Street customers may use this option to pay for metered spaces, in lieu of coins. In addition to the $3.00 parking fee, there is a .50 service charge for each transaction.
Users need to register for an account by calling Passport Parking at 630-581-2445 or visit their website.
When prompted, enter the ZONE NUMBER posted on the green Pay by Phone sign, located near the pay station.
PARKING DECK = 307

Meters accept quarters only. Each quarter registers one hour of time, up to 12 hours maximum. Meters must be fed Monday through Saturday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
PARKING - Permits
Due to a demand greater than the number of permit spaces available, the Village maintains a wait list. Commuters may place their names on one or more of the wait lists, however, only residents of incorporated Downers Grove may be added to the Main Street wait list. Please email parking@downers.us with your name, address, phone number and email address and indicate the list/s you would like to be on.

Belmont: No Waitlist. Permits available upon request, first-come, first-served.
Fairview: No Waitlist. Permits available upon request, first-come, first-served.

Permits are valid only for the lot that they are issued. Letter names correspond to the station location:
Main Street Station: A, B, C, D, F and Forest North.
Fairview Station: I

Residents of the Downtown Business District may use their permit to park overnight on Level 1 of the Parking Deck.
