DOWNTOWN
The multi-level Parking Deck located at Curtiss St. and Mochel Dr. has spaces for all purposes; commuters, downtown employees, 4-hour parking for visitors, and overnight parking for downtown residential customers.
Temporary Handicap
The Village can issue Handicap Parking placards to Downers Grove residents with a temporary disability, under the following terms:
- Applicant must be a resident of incorporated Downers Grove.
- The disability must be of a temporary nature.
- Complete the Persons with Disabilities Certification for Parking Placard form. Applicant and physician must sign the form.
- A $2 fee payable to the Village will apply.
Where can I park for the Main Street Station?
Lots A, B, C, D, F, Forest Lot North If you have a quarterly permit for the lot, it must be displayed at all times; Anyone may park here after 11:00 a.m., without a permit for free. See MAP.
Parking Deck Payment is $3 per day at the on-site pay station.
Where can I park overnight?
- Lot F (on the north side of the tracks along Warren Ave, east of Washington St.): An overnight parking permit must be purchased in advance at the Civic Center, 850 Curtiss St., during business hours. The fee is $6 per night. Customers are limited to a maximum of five nights of overnight parking per calendar month.
- Parking Deck: Overnight parking is allowed on Level 5 on Friday and Saturday evenings only, with police notification. Call (630) 434-5600 or complete the online form. Be ready with your space number.
- Commuters with a valid permit may park in their lot overnight with police permission. Call 630.434.5600.
- Downtown Residents: Residents of the downtown business district may park overnight in the Parking Deck on Level 1 with a valid permit. The cost is $195 per quarter.
Where can I park for free?
Limited free parking is available along Main St. in time increments. Please pay attention to the signs. Other locations include:
PARKING DECK Free 4-hour parking on Level 1; Free parking after 3:00 p.m. on Levels 3, 4, and 5.
VILLAGE LOTS A, B, C, D, F, H and I, and Forest North. These lots are free after 11:00 a.m.
Where can I park for the Fairview Station?
- Lot I, with a commuter permit (Free after 11:00 a.m.)
- Daily Spaces ($3 fee) in the following locations; Portion of Lot I north of 2nd St; Numbered spaces north of the tracks, east of Fairview along Burlington Ave AND numbered spaces east of Florence Ave.
