Village Government
The Village of Downers Grove operates under a Council-Manager form of government in which the Mayor, Village Council and Village Manager constitute a policy-development and management team.
Policy is set by elected leaders and a professional management team headed by the Village Manager oversees the execution of those policies in day-to-day Village operations.
