Republic Cart Delivery Begins March 23

Carts for the new waste and recycling program will begin delivery on March 23, with distribution taking place over multiple days to ensure all households are ready for service.

Delivery Updates

March 30, 2026:

1. Deliveries are ongoing for customers with Monday collection. 
2. Deliveries are still in progress on the Friday collection route.  
3. The Village is aware of issues with 35-gallon carts. Republic is working to correct these issues, both moving forward and for carts already delivered.
4. Please remember that deliveries for each collection day can take up to two days, and carts may arrive at different times.

March 27, 2026:

1. Republic has completed delivery of yard waste carts to those with Thursday collection.
2. Delivery to Friday customers is underway, starting with waste and recycling carts. (Please note: If you ordered a 35-gallon, we ask for patience as there may be some delay with this size, only.)

There will be deliveries on Saturday, March 28.

1. Yard waste carts in the Friday collection area.
2.  35 gallon carts that may have been missed earlier this week.
3.  Begin delivery of trash and recycling carts to those with Monday collection.

March 26, 2026: Republic is completing delivery of yard waste/organics carts to customers with Wednesday collection.

Delivery to customers with Thursday collection is also underway.

March 24, 2026: Republic has completed delivery of carts to the majority of households with Wednesday collection. On March 25, deliveries will continue to the remaining Wednesday customers AND delivery to customers with Thursday collection will begin.

Delivery Timeline

1. Cart delivery will begin Monday, March 23, and is expected to be completed by Thursday, April 2.
2. Customers with Wednesday pickup will receive their carts first so they are ready for their first pickup under the new program on Wednesday, April 1.
3. Current cart customers: If you requested a change in size, new carts will be delivered first. Old carts will be collected on your next collection day. For example, Wednesday customers will receive new carts on Monday, March 23. On Wednesday, March 25, your cart will be emptied, and the old cart will be collected separately. As usual, please have carts at the curb by 6:00 a.m.
4. It may take one to two days to complete deliveries for each collection day. Once a day’s deliveries are finished, crews will move on to the next collection day so all carts arrive before each household’s first pickup under the new program.
5. Cart delivery will occur Monday through Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Saturday delivery is also possible.)
