1. Call to Order

Mayor Brian Krajewski called the special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Downers Grove to order at 7:19 p.m. in the Committee Room of the Downers Grove Village Hall.

Present: Commissioner Michael Gilbert, Commissioner Thomas Sisul, Commissioner Marilyn Schnell and Mayor Brian Krajewski Non Voting: Village Clerk April Holden

4.Active Agenda

MOT00 -00160 Motion to Authorize Purchase of TrackWise Software for Community Response Center Sponsors: Community Response Center Team Summary of Item: Mayor Krajewski said approval of this motion will authorize acquisition of the TrackWise Software for Community Response Tracking at a total estimated cost of $49,940.

This motion will authorize purchase of TrackWise Software as recommended by the Village Manager. The Village Manager and staff are authorized to execute such documents and take such actions as may be necessary to carry out the terms of this motion. A motion was made by Commissioner Schnell, seconded by Commissioner Sisul, to Authorize this file. Mayor Krajewski declared the motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Yea: Commissioner Schnell, Commissioner Sisul, Commissioner Gilbert and Mayor Krajewski Indexes: Community Response Center

MOT00 -00168 Motion to Authorize Agreement with RJN Group, Inc. for CBD Phase IV Engineering Sponsors: Public Works and Manager’s Office Summary of Item: Mayor Krajewski said this will authorize an Agreement with RJN Group, Inc. in the amount of $420,090 for the CBD Phase IV Engineering.

This motion to accept proposal of RJN Group, Inc. for the Central Business District Redevelopment Phase IV – Engineering as recommended by the Village Manager. This agreement shall be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the request for proposal documents as well as the proposal of the RJN Group, Inc. dated June 2, 2000, as modified in their correspondence dated June 22, 2000, as well as such other terms and conditions as the Manager may require in the preparation of final documents. The Village Manager and staff are authorized to execute such documents and take such actions as may be necessary to carry out the terms of this motion, A motion was made by Commissioner Sisul, seconded by Commissioner Gilbert, to Accept this file. Mayor Krajewski declared the motion carried by the following vote: Votes: Yea: Commissioner Sisul, Commissioner Gilbert, Commissioner Schnell and Mayor Krajewski Indexes: Central Business District – Phase IV

5.Adjournment

Commissioner Schnell moved to adjourn to Executive Session pursuant to Section 2©(5) of the Open Meetings Act to consider real estate matters, and pursuant to Section 2©(11) to consider pending litigation. Commissioner Sisul seconded.

VOTE : YEA – Commissioners Schnell, Sisul, McConnell, Gilbert, Mayor Krajewski

Mayor Krajewski declared the motion carried and the Council convened into Executive Session at 7:23 p.m.
