What's a Rain Barrel?
Rain barrels are large containers that capture rainwater at the end of a downspout and store the water for later use, such as watering plants. Using water from rain barrels lowers water bills, helps reduce flooding, and can have a dramatic impact on water quality in our rivers and streams.
The barrels are made from reused plastic and come equipped with a spigot, a lid that screws off, a garden hose threaded overflow, and screen in the top to help keep out bugs and debris.
Compost bins are also available through this sale.

STORMWATER UTILITY INCENTIVE
As part of the stormwater utility, the Village has an incentive program to encourage residents to install rain barrels on their property. The maximum incentive per property is fifty dollars ($50) for two (2) rain barrels on a property.
