Mayor Barnett highlighted the contributions of Commissioners Greg Hosé and Danny Glover.
As part of the Village Council meeting on April 15, 2025, Mayor Barnett and fellow Council members recognized Commissioners Greg Hosé and Danny Glover for the work they’ve done in service to our community.
In appreciation of their selflessness and dedication to the community they love and call home, the outgoing Commissioners were presented with a few small gifts and many thoughtful comments from colleagues at the dais.

Greg Hosé
Commissioner Greg Hosé was sworn in for his third term on May 4, 2021. He has been a member of the Village Council since 2013. Greg began his service to the Village of Downers Grove on the Environmental Concerns Commission and the Plan Commission, where he served as chair until his election to the Village Council.
Danny Glover
Commissioner Danny Glover was sworn in on May 4, 2021. He is a lifelong resident of the community where he also owns and operates his businesses. Danny is deeply involved with the community and has devoted himself to working hard to make sure it remains the greatest place to live. He considers himself fortunate to have received all the benefits Downers Grove has to offer.
