POLICE RESPOND TO PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY TRAIN

On February 25, 2025, at approximately 7:33 a.m., the Downers Grove Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian that was struck by an eastbound Metra train.
On February 25th, 2025, at approximately 7:33 a.m., the Downers Grove Police Department responded to the area of the 1000 block of Burlington Avenue (Main Street Railroad Crossing) for a report of a pedestrian that was struck by an eastbound Metra train.
The person was transported to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital with critical injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
