Street Light Replacement

Project Summary

This multi-year project is to replace existing Village street light fixtures with LED fixtures throughout the Village.

LATEST UPDATE

May 29, 2026

1. The contractor has finished installing the first shipment of lights.
2. The second shipment is expected mid to late June and the contractor will finish the balance of the lights to be installed.

PAST UPDATES

May 22, 2026

1. All commercial lights within the project area have been completed.
2. The contractor is now proceeding through the residential areas.

May 15, 2026

Work has commenced. The first phase will be completed by the beginning of June. This includes the portions along Woodward, Lemont/Main St, and Fairview, all south of 63rd St.

May 8, 2026

The contractor has received the shipment of lights and will be commencing work on May 12th, weather permitting.

April 24, 2026

The contractor is projecting to start the week of May 8th.

April 10, 2026

This project is projected to start towards the end of April.

March 20, 2026

1. The contract was awarded at the March 3rd Council Meeting.
2. A pre-Construction meeting was held with the contractor on 3/16/26, and the project is expected to begin mid to late April.
