Brick Street Maintenance
Project Summary
This project consists of maintenance work on brick streets throughout the Village, including resetting and leveling brick.
2026 Brick Street Maintenance Includes:
- Oakwood Ave from Prairie Ave to Chicago Ave
- Linscott Ave from Prairie Ave to Chicago Ave
LATEST UPDATE
April 10, 2026
Work is currently delayed due to the asphalt for patching underneath the bricks being unavailable.
PAST UPDATES
April 3, 2026
Work is expected to begin in the next week or so. Residents have been mailed a construction notice with additional information about the upcoming work.
March 20, 2026
- The contract was awarded at the March 10th Council meeting.
- A pre-construction meeting was held with the contractor on 3/17/26. The contractor is expected to begin mobilizing into town around mid-April. The project schedule and street-specific phasing is still being finalized.
