Project Summary

This project consists of routine preventative maintenance of Village-owned parking lots, including sealcoating and restriping.

This year's project includes seal coating of Lots J and K off of Belmont and Lot A off of Forest.

August 1, 2025

Seal Coating of Parking Lots J and A is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 2nd and 3rd. Signs are posted at lot entrances to indicate upcoming closure. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

July 25, 2025

Seal Coating of Parking Lots J and A have been delayed. They are tentatively scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 2 and 3. Signs will be posted in advance to indicate lot closure. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

July 18, 2025

1. Seal Coating of Parking Lots J and A have been delayed due to rain. They are tentatively scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 26 and 27.

June 27, 2025

1. Commuter Lots J and K and Downtown Parking Lot A were crack filled.
2. Seal Coating of Lot K (Belmont and Hitchcock) is tentatively scheduled to take place the weekend of June 28-29.
3. Signs will be posted in advance to indicate lot closure. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
4. The work at J and A will be scheduled for a future date, likely in July.

June 20, 2025

1. Commuter Lots J and K and Downtown Parking Lot A will be receiving surface treatments in the next few weeks, including crack filling, seal coating, and restriping.
2. This work will require a 2-day closure of the lots, which will be scheduled to take place over a weekend to minimize disruption.
3. This work is weather dependent. Signs will be posted at the entrance to the lots in advance as schedule is established.

May 2, 2025

The contractor is expected to mobilize for this work when weather becomes warmer, possibly as early as late May or June.

April 11, 2025

A preconstruction meeting is scheduled for the week of April 21st, at which time the contractor will provide an estimation of schedule/timing for the work.
