Traffic Signal Modernization

Project Summary

The Village owns and maintains traffic signals at 20 intersections. This equipment must be regularly maintained and updated to meet current standards and ensure continuity of operations.

LATEST UPDATE

October 17, 2025

Concrete curb and sidewalk removal is complete. Sidewalk and curb replacement to continue into next week, followed by installation of new push buttons and posts.

PAST UPDATES

October 10, 2025

Concrete removal is complete. Grading and framing expected to continue into next week. Conduit to be bored across Finley Rd at Brook Dr to accomodate new pedestrian push buttons.

September 26, 2025

Contractor plans to begin removal of concrete next week, weather pending. Signal upgrades will take place after concrete removal. Minimal traffic impact is expected.

August 29, 2025

Contractor plans to begin work toward the end of September, pending weather and electrical equipment lead times.

August 15, 2025

The project was awarded by Village Council on August 5, 2025.
