Project Summary
This project is to perform maintenance and upkeep on the decorative crosswalk striping throughout the Downtown Business District.
LATEST UPDATE
May 8, 2026
- Crosswalk work has been completed at Burlington and Mochel, and is underway at Main and Grove, and Main north of Curtiss.
- Other locations are on hold due to other construction in the area. The crew will return to complete the crosswalks at Curtiss and Mochel, Main and Franklin, and around the downtown Parking Deck.
PAST UPDATES
May 1, 2026
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 4th. This work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
April 24, 2026
Work is tentatively scheduled to begin May 1st. This is weather-dependent and subject to change.
April 17, 2026
A preconstruction meeting is scheduled for April 17th, at which time a construction schedule will be established. This work is expected to be completed by Memorial Day weekend.
April 3, 2026
This project is scheduled to be approved at the April 7th Council meeting.
