Sidewalk Repair & Replacement
Project Summary
This annual project provides for the rehabilitation of sections of sidewalk that have become vertically separated, by saw cutting the lifted edge to provide a smooth walking surface. Sidewalk sections not suitable for rehabilitation are removed and replaced.
LATEST UPDATE
May 8, 2026
- Removal and replacement operations are nearly complete. Asphalt and turf restoration operations are ongoing at various locations.
- Tuesday, May 12th, the contractor will begin removal and replacement operations in the downtown business district. One of these locations spans the alleyway East of the library.
- Signage about alternate traffic patterns during the work will be posted and businesses have been notified. Alternate traffic pattern to last approximately five days while the new concrete cures.
