Independence Day Parade and Fireworks

The Village of Downers Grove Independence Day Parade steps off from Main St. and Grant St at 1:00 p.m., traveling south on Main St. to Warren Ave.
This year's Grand Marshal is Kate Johnson of Downers Grove, who will be representing Illinois at the National Miss Amazing summit in Chicago on July 26-28.
FIREWORKS
The Villages of Downers Grove and Woodridge present fireworks beginning at dusk, approximately 9:30 p.m.
The show can be seen at 75th St. and Lemont Rd. from several parking lots in the area.
The procession travels south on Main Street, ending at Warren Avenue.
