February 19, 2025 Intermittent flurries are possible through the overnight. Any light snow may lead to a dusting resulting in slick roads. Temperatures will gradually inch upwards toward more seasonal conditions this weekend, and possibly near 50° in spots on Monday!

WARMING CENTERS 

Residents in need of shelter due to extreme cold can call 911 to request sheltering assistance. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Transportation to a warming center will be provided if needed.

The following warming centers are available, daily:

• Downers Grove Public Library, 1050 Curtiss St. 630.960.1200 Hours: M-F 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Sat, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Sun, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Main Street Train Station, 5001 Main St. Open throughout the night.
• List of warming centers in DuPage County. Please be sure to call a warming center before going to one, as some are only open during emergencies, such as large-scale power outages.
• Please be sure to check on friends and neighbors who may need assistance.
