1. Call Meeting to Order

Mayor Pro Tem William White called the special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Downers Grove to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Downers Grove Village Hall.

2. Roll Call

Council Present: Commissioner Earl, Commissioner Waldack, Commissioner White, Commissioner Hosé, Commissioner Barnett

Absent: Mayor Tully

3. Executive Session

Convene into Executive Session

Commissioner Hosé moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to Section 2(c) (3) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act to consider the selection of a person to fill a public office. Commissioner Waldack seconded the motion.

Votes: Yea: Commissioners Hosé, Waldack, Earl, White, Barnett Nay: None

Mayor Pro Tem White declared the Motion carried and the Council convened into Executive Session at 6:03 p.m.

Reconvene into Open Session

15. Adjournment

Mayor Tully said no action will be taken tonight. Council will meet in Executive Session again tomorrow, August 30, 2016. He then asked for a motion to adjourn.

Commissioner White moved to adjourn. Commissioner Earl seconded the motion.

Votes: Yea: Commissioners White, Earl, Waldack, Hosé, Barnett; Mayor Tully

Mayor Tully declared the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
