Attendance: Mayor Krajewski, Commissioners Schnell, McConnell, Tully, Sandack, Urban (by phone), Waldack; Village Attorney Enza Petrarca; Assistant Village Manager Mike Baker; Deputy Village Manager David Fieldman; Human Resources Director Greg Zimmerman; Village Clerk April Holden; Jim Mercer, The Mercer Group, Inc.

The Executive Session convened at 5:32 p.m. in the Committee Room of the Village Hall.

Executive Search – Manager’s Position

Jim Mercer of the Mercer Group, Inc. reviewed the status of the search process to date. He said the process of the interviews would not be discussed at this time.

Mr. Mercer said a nationwide search has been conducted resulting in 69 candidates. He reviewed the candidates and asked each Council member to compile a list of their top ten candidates for interviews. Mike Baker, Assistant to the Village Manager, provided a summary of the top ten candidates. Following discussion, Council agreed on August 1 and 2, 2005 as interview dates.

Commissioner Tully motioned to adjourn. Commissioner Schnell seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
