Attendance: Commissioners Schnell, McConnell, Sandack; Urban; Village Attorney Enza Petrarca; Assistant Village Manager Mike Baker;

Absent: Mayor Krajewski; Commissioners Zabloudil and Tully

Guests: James Mercer, President of the Mercer Group, William Waldack, Commissioner-elect

The Executive Session convened at 5:05 p.m. in the Ante Room of the Village Hall.

Personnel

Commissioners Schnell and McConnell discussed the process for the selection of a recruitment firm for the Village Manager position. They explained that the Mercer Group was the recruitment committee’s recommendation. At 5:15 p.m. James Mercer, President of the Mercer Group, was invited to join the meeting. Mr. Mercer presented his proposal and an overview of his firm. The Village Council asked Mr. Mercer several questions. Mr. Mercer was asked to step out of the meeting at 6:00 p.m. The Council discussed the proposal and the references.

Commissioner Sandack motioned to adjourn. Commissioner McConnell seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
