Police Investigate Armed Robbery

On September 6, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Downers Grove Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Speedway Gas Station located at 5004 Fairview Avenue.

During the incident, a person entered the store and displayed a handgun to an employee. The person then fled the station westbound on foot with proceeds from the robbery. A second person stood near the door during the incident and also fled the area on foot. No one was injured during the incident. 

The attached photos show the offenders in the gas station. The Police Department is asking anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the persons pictured to contact 630-434-5600.
