Independence Day Parade and Fireworks

The Downers Grove Independence Day Parade will be on July 4, 2022 and kicks off at 1:00 p.m. at Main and Grant Streets. The procession travels south on Main Street, ending at Warren Avenue.

Downers Grove native Savannah Harmon will headline the parade as Grand Marshal. Harmon and the Women's USA Olympic Hockey Team won the silver medal in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Savannah will be joined by friends, supporters and special guest, Rusty, of the Chicago Steel! You won't want to miss the fun.  

 

Fireworks: July 4

Join us at the fireworks display, brought to you by the Village of Downers Grove and Village of Woodridge. The show starts at approximately 9:30 p.m. at 75th Street and Lemont Road. There are several parking lots in the area to park and enjoy the show.
