Structure Fire/Homicide Investigation

UPDATE 1/27/26: The victim in this case has been identified as Eliza Morales (30) of the 2300 block of Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove, IL. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the DuPage County Coroner’s Office at a later time.

Downers Grove Police have arrested Nedas Revuckas, (pictured left), (male/19) (d.o.b. 04/06/2006) of the 1400 block of Spruce Lane, Westmont, IL.(pictured below). Revuckas has been charged with First Degree Murder - Intend Death or Great Bodily Harm (Class M), First Degree Murder - Forcible Felony - Armed Robbery (Class M), First Degree Murder - Forcible Felony - Aggravated Arson (Class M), Intentional Homicide of an Unborn Child (Class M), Armed Robbery (Class X), Aggravated Arson (Class X), and Aggravated Cruelty to Animals (Class 4). Revuckas will be transported to the DuPage County Jail and will attend first appearance court for a detention hearing on January 28, 2026. Additional details regarding the allegations will be shared at the first appearance hearing.
