Free collection of live Christmas trees only, will be offered by Republic Services from January 3-13 2023. Trees must be free of tinsel, ornaments and hooks and should not be placed in bags.

PARK DISTRICT TREE RECYCLING

The Downers Grove Park District is accepting Christmas trees for recycling through January 15 at the following locations: 

  • McCollum Park 6801 Main St.; north parking lot on the west side of the lot.
  • Whitlock Park, 40th/Fairview; southeast corner of the parking lot.
