The Downers Grove Police and Fire Departments will be participating in a training exercise on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The Downers Grove Police and Fire Departments will be participating in a training exercise on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The exercise will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., in the area of Warren and Oakwood Avenues and will simulate a train striking an automobile on the tracks.
- Staging for the exercise will begin on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 1337 Warren Ave.
- Signs will be in place throughout the immediate area to advise of the activities.
Please avoid the area, if possible, or use caution if you must travel near the location.
