The Village invites everyone—residents, businesses, and stakeholders—to join the Community Visioning Workshops.

These workshops are a key part of the Guiding DG initiative, four plans now in development to shape the future of Downers Grove.  

  • Comprehensive Plan
  • Bike and Pedestrian Plan
  • Environmental Sustainability Plan
  • Downtown and Fairview Avenue Streetscape


Participants should be prepared to listen and engage in small group discussion about what Downers Grove could look like in the future, as they relate to the four plans. 

Please join us at one of the workshops and be part of the planning process.

6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Downers Grove South High School

1436 Norfolk St.- please park in the main lot off Norfolk and enter at the main doors by the mustang statue.


Workshop #2

July 25, 2024

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Village Hall Committee Room

801 Burlington Ave.

Please park on the south side of 801 Burlington Ave. (old Village Hall) and follow the signs to Committee Room.
