Additional Charges Filed Against Public Indecency Suspect

Chief Michael DeVries announced today that additional charges have been filed against a Plainfield man accused of exposing his genitals to a juvenile female employee on June 8th, 2023, while employed as a manager of a restaurant in the 5100 block of Main Street.

Chief Michael DeVries announced today that additional charges have been filed against a Plainfield man accused of exposing his genitals to a juvenile female employee on June 8th, 2023, while employed as a manager of a restaurant in the 5100 block of Main Street. Armando Romero-Mendoza, 42 (d.o.b. 07/14/1980) of the 1900 block of Long Ridge Court, has been charged with one count of Public Indecency, a class A misdemeanor.
Romero-Mendoza is currently out on bond following his arrest by Downers Grove Police for Public Indecency on June 27th, 2023, after it was alleged that on June 5th, 2023, he exposed his genitals to an adult female employee while working at the same location. Romero-Mendoza’s next court appearance is scheduled for August 23rd, 2023.
