Police Investigate Armed Robbery

On February 1, 2022, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Downers Grove Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at 5105 Fairview Avenue
During the incident two suspects entered the store and displayed handguns to an employee. The suspects then fled in a white sedan northbound on Fairview Avenue with the proceeds of the robbery. No one was injured during the incident.
The first suspect was described as a Black man, thin build, 20-25 years old, wearing all black with a black face mask and gloves. The second suspect was described as a Black man, heavy build, 20-25 years old, wearing a black hoodie with white lettering on the back, brown boots, gloves and a blue surgical mask.
