Sidewalk Repair & Replacement

Project Summary

This annual project provides for the rehabilitation of sections of sidewalk that have become vertically separated, by saw cutting the lifted edge to provide a smooth walking surface. Sidewalk sections not suitable for rehabilitation are removed and replaced.

Contractor is performing cleanup and punch list work, continuing into early next week. Expected completion before 10/28.

August 30, 2024

Project is substantially complete.

August 16, 2024

The contractor intends to continue work on the remaining locations for 2024 next week, weather pending.

August 9, 2024

The contractor continues to work through the Village replacement list. Asphalt driveway restoration work is expected to take place early next week, weather pending. Additional sidewalk work will take place within the next few weeks after the work is approved by Village Council.

The remaining sidewalk replacement work is expected to begin next week, weather pending.

Concrete work in the Downtown Business District is complete.

June 21, 2024

Concrete work is expected to take place in the Downtown Business District Monday, 6/24. The work will take place on Warren Ave between Main and Forest. Work is expected to be complete by end of day, weather pending.

Sidewalk replacement in the Downtown Business District is expected to take place Monday, 6/24. Work is expected to be complete by end of day.

Removal and replacement of locations for Contract B is complete. Removal and replacement of additional locations for Contract C is expected to take place over the next few weeks, weather pending.

Contractor is continuing removal and replacement of locations throughout the Village. Removal, framing, and pouring work is expected to continue into next week, weather pending.
