Ben's Memorial Mile

Ben's Memorial Mile is a nonprofit hosting a running event (chip-timed, one-mile road races) followed by a community/music festival. All proceeds are donated to mental-health causes in honor of Downers Grove resident Benjamin Silver.
- 4:00 PM: Little kids’ 100-meter dash
- 4:15 PM: Open/walking mile
- 4:45 PM: Elite mile
- 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Fishel Park community festival: There will be live music, kids activities, concessions, mental-health booths, raffles, and much more! There is no charge to come to the festival.
