Voter Information: Consolidated Election April 4, 2023

Downers Grove Village Hall is NOT an Early Voting or Election Day Polling Location.  Early Voting is available at the Downers Grove Park District - Lincoln Center @ 935 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove. Early Voting takes place on Monday, March 20th and runs through April 3rd.

LIST OF EARLY VOTING SITES IN DUPAGE COUNTY

Temporary Locations:

  • Dates: March 20th - April 1st
  • Days/Hours: Weekdays from 8:30 am - 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (NO SUNDAY HOURS)

Permanent Locations:

·          Dates: March 20th - April 3rd                                                                              

·          Days/Hours: Weekdays from 8:30 am - 7:00 pm and Weekends from 9:00 am - 5:00 am

Mail-In Ballot Drop Box

All Early Voting and Polling locations will have a drop box located indoors for voters to deposit their mail-in ballots.  There is an outdoor drop box located at the DuPage County Complex, 421 N County Farm Rd, in the parking lot near the Jack T. Knuepfer building. 

Voter Registration

You may register to vote or update voter registration AND vote at the same time during Grace Period Voting. Grace Period Voting takes place during Early Voting from March 20th through April 3rd at Early Voting Locations and on April 4th, Election Day, at Polling Locations (Find Polling Locations Near You).

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:

  • You must be a United States citizen
  • You must be at least 18 years old on or before the next election (OR for a General Primary, must be 17 and will be 18 by the General Election)
  • You must live in your election precinct at least 30 days before the next election
  • You must not currently convicted and serving a sentence
  • You cannot claim the right to vote anywhere else
  • You must provide two (2) forms of identification, one of which must have your correct name and address on it. You do not need a photo ID to register.

Election Day

April 4, 2023, is the Consolidated Election Day. On Election Day, DuPage County registered voters can vote at any polling location within DuPage County. Find Polling Locations Near You
