- CURBSIDE CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION: Free collection of live Christmas trees only, will be offered by Republic Services from January 4-15, 2016. Trees must be free of tinsel, ornaments and hooks and should not be placed in bags.
- CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING via Downers Grove Park District: December 26, 2015 through January 13, 2016. MORE HERE.
- Recycling of Holiday Items: See the naughty and nice list HERE.
- Hours: Most Village offices will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2015, and January 1, 2016.
- Garbage Collection: Friday, December 25, 2015, and Friday, January 1, 2016, are holidays for Republic Services. Residents with a collection day of Friday will be one day later during the these holiday weeks.
