House Addition

Definition: Any construction that adds square footage to the primary structure, i.e.:
- Adding a 2nd floor;
- Adding square footage to the the first floor of the residence;
- Creating new impervious surfaces (breaking into new ground).
An applicant that seeks a house addition that will add six hundred (600) square feet or more of gross floor area to an existing house or garage must follow the “Demolition/Construction SIte Management” general rules. (See related document listed below.)
