1. Notice shall be provided to the Downers Grove Fire Prevention Division at least 30 days prior to disconnection. Notification shall be made by completing and submitting the appropriate form.
2. Once notification has been made to the Fire Prevention Division you will be contacted to schedule a date and time for disconnection. This scheduled date will be after the required alternate fire alarm monitoring has been established and the building is protected. During this appointment you will be met by Village staff, or an authorized agent, to perform deactivation of the radio to be removed. Note: no radio shall be removed from a protected building without alternate monitoring being established and the radio to be removed having been deactivated.
