The proposed improvements include installation of a new storm sewer system on private property north of Hitchcock Ave and an upgraded storm sewer system on Warren Ave from Woodward Ave to Cornell Ave. The new storm sewer system will intercept stormwater runoff at the areas identified and adequately convey it to the existing storm sewer system on Warren Ave at Woodward Ave. The proposed improvements will also provide connection points for future, private drainage improvements via the Stormwater Cost-Share Program.
This week the contractor completed the pavement restoration with the placement of asphalt patches on Warren Avenue. The contractor anticipates turf restoration will begin next week when topsoil and sod are available.
The contractor has completed the installation of the storm sewer across the BNSF Right-of-Way from Warren to the rear yards of Hitchcock. Restoration of pavement and disturbed turf areas will begin when asphalt and sod materials become available this spring.
Pavement patching has been completed and the contractor has begun turf restoration and ditchline regrading.
The contractor has completed the storm sewer installation on Warren Avenue with the exception of the extension that will be installed south across the BNSF Right-of-Way to Hitchcock Avenue. The south extension across the BNSF Right-of-Way is awaiting approval from BNSF to complete the work. The contractor began pavement patching on Warren between Stonewall and Cornell.
The contractor will be working on the pavement patching on Warren between Woodward and Stonewall and parkway restoration.
Contractor has completed the mainline storm sewer installation on Warren and Stonewall and will continue storm sewer installation across Warren next week.
