Staff will assess quality of punch list work as soon as conditions permit. Snow is impeding ability to properly inspect items.
The contractor is continuing work on punch list items. It is anticipated that the punch list will be completed by November 15th.
The contractor is working on addressing punch list items, though winter weather has impacted the ability to work. Cleanup and other associated items requiring attention will continue week of 11/4/19.
This week, stone shoulder and pavement markings were applied throughout the project and restoration work was completed. Staff did a final inspection for items to be addressed and the contractor will be attending to these items starting the week of 10/28/19.
- Surface asphalt was paved on Elm, Second, Dunham, Oxnard, Stonewall, Washington, Randall (Washington to Lyman), Lyman, and Fairmount
- Stone shoulder was placed on Springside, Burlington, and Elmore
- Landscapers have been prepping disturbed areas throughout town and will be installing sod over the next several days
- Pavement markings will be striped throughout the project area on Friday and Saturday, weather pending
Next week, landscaping and stone shoulder work should be completed. Staff will do a final inspection to compile a punch list of items to attend to prior to project completion.
This week asphalt driveways throughout the project areas were repaired. Landscapers prepped disturbed areas on Dunham, 71st, Powell Ct, Elmore, Bending Oaks Ct, Springside, Jefferson, and Curtiss. Level binder was paved on Oxnard, Stonewall, Dunham, 71st, and Powell Ct. Surface asphalt was paved on Burlington, Elmore, Curtiss, and Lee. Stone shoulder was installed on Burlington, Elmore, and Springside.
Next week, weather permitting, Surface Asphalt is expected to be paved according to the following schedule:
- Monday 10/14: Elm, Second
- Tuesday 10/15: Dunham, 71st, and Powell Ct
- Wednesday 10/16: Oxnard, Stonewall
- Thursday 10/17 and Friday 10/18: Washington, Randall (Lyman to Washington), Lyman, and Fairmount
Pavement markings are expected to be striped on Friday 10/18 and Saturday 10/19 throughout the project area. Restoration work will continue next week as well in all disturbed areas. Following completion of paving, striping, and sodding, a punch list will be prepared and given to the contractor to address any additional items that require attention prior to closing out the project.
This week, pavement striping was applied on Jefferson, Springside, Blodgett (59th to 63rd), 61st, Blodgett (55th to Randall), Randall (Blodgett to Fairmount), Williams, and Frontage Rd. Level binder was paved on Elmore, Lee, Bending Oaks Ct, Stonewall (from Bolson to Oxnard), and started on Oxnard. The underground contractor began re-installing manhole frames in the pavement in the Randall Park area (Washington, Lyman, Randall, Fairmount) and Second to prepare for final surface asphalt paving.
Friday 10/4 is tentatively scheduled for asphalt patching on Oxnard and continuing the repair/replacement of asphalt driveways.
Work the week of 10/7 is expected to be level binder paving on Oxnard, Stonewall, Dunham, 71st, and Powell Ct on Monday 10/7, then starting the final surface asphalt paving in the Randall Park area midweek. The landscaper is planning on being onsite Tuesday 10/8 to restore disturbed areas, starting with Blodgett from 59th to 63rd and moving from there to Williams and Frontage Rd.
This schedule continues to be highly weather dependent and is subject to change.
This week, patching was completed on Burlington, Fairmount, Lyman, Washington, Elm, Elmore, and Lee. Grinding continued on Oxnard, Stonewall, Dunham, 71st, and Powell Ct.
Next week, the underground contractor will be on the streets that have been paved with level binder (first layer of asphalt) to adjust the manholes in the pavement, preparing for the final layer of asphalt. Paving will continue, weather pending. The landscaper is planning on being in town next week to restore disturbed areas.
This week, grinding continued on Burlington, Curtiss, Elmore, Bending Oaks Ct, and Lee.
Friday 9/20/19, paving is planned for Springside, George, Jefferson, Fairmount, Lyman, Washington, and Randall.
Saturday, level binder is planned for Second, Elm and Curtiss.
Monday, patching will take place on needed streets. Depending on the amount of patching areas, level binder is tentatively scheduled on Lee, Elmore, and Bending Oaks Ct for Wednesday 9/25/19. Patching will also take place on streets that require it.
Asphalt driveways are expected to be repaired next week or the following week. As temperatures fall below 80 degrees, the landscapers will resume work restoring disturbed areas. Grinding is also expected to be completed by 9/27/19, with Dunham, 71st, Powell Ct, Oxnard, and Stonewall.
Due to chances of rain this week, the contractor was unable to pave the locations they were hoping to complete.
Concrete was poured on Dunham, Oxnard, and Stonewall, and Elm and Second St were milled. Cleanup and prep took place on the streets to be paved.
Next week, all concrete work should be complete and the contractor will focus on paving all streets that have been milled, weather pending, and landscapers will continue restoration throughout town. An asphalt driveway crew will be in town within the next week or two to address the HMA driveways in need of repair.
This week, the contractor removed concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveway aprons on Oxnard and Stonewall, as well as spot locations on previously completed streets. The contractor poured concrete curb and sidewalk on Dunham Rd, 71st St, Powell Ct, and Curtiss.
Next week, the contractor will pour concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveway aprons on Oxnard and Stonewall, and will complete concrete removals on those same streets. Due to an unexpected delay, the contractor was not able to perform any asphalt grinding or paving work this week. Next week, the contractor is expected to be back in town to pave surface asphalt on Springside, Jefferson, George, and Downers. Level binder will be paved on Lyman, Fairmount, Washington, and Randall from Washington to Lyman. Grinding will continue on Second, Elm, Lee, Elmore, and Bending Oaks Ct.
The landscaper will start placing sod in restoration locations when temperatures are within specifications.
This week, surface asphalt was paved on Williams and leveling binder was paved on Springside and Jefferson. Concrete work continued on Bending Oaks Court and Curtiss, and concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveways were removed on Dunham Rd, 71st St, and Powell Court. Road milling continued on Fairmount, Lyman, Washington, and Randall, and is expected to continue on Second St, Elm, Elmore, Bending Oaks Ct, and Lee the week of 9/2.
Concrete curb, driveway, and sidewalk removals will take place on Curtiss, Oxnard (south side of the street), and Stonewall (east side of the street) next week Tuesday, and concrete will be poured on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Dunham Rd, 71st St, and Powell Court will have concrete curb and sidewalk poured on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Milled roads will be evaluated for patching early next week.
This week, concrete curb, sidewalk, and aprons were poured on Lyman, Washington, Randall (from Washington to Lyman), and Second. Curb was poured on Elmore and Springside, and sidewalk was partially poured on Springside and Elmore. Surface asphalt paving was completed on 61st St, Blodgett from 59th to 63rd, and Frontage Rd.
The contractor is expected to repair asphalt driveways on Second St, Fairmount, Washington, Frontage, Williams, and Randall (from Blodgett to Fairmount) on Saturday, 8/24. The underground contractor also came to town to lower in-pavement structures in anticipation of road work on Elm, Lee, and Elmore. The landscapre began prepping areas for restoration on Blodgett (from Randall to 55th) and Randall (from Blodgett to Fairmount). Concrete removals are expected to take place on Bending Oaks Ct and Curtiss (from Walnut to Katrine) on Saturday, 8/24.
Next week, road milling is expected to take place on Fairmount, Lyman, Washington, and Randall (from Washington to Lyman). Concrete curb, apron, and sidewalk will be poured on Elmore, Lee, Springside, Bending Oaks Ct, Elm, and Curtiss. Williams is expected to be paved with final asphalt surface. Concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveway apron removals are expected to take place on Monday or Tuesday, 8/26 or 8/27, schedule pending, with the concrete poured later in the week.

Leveling binder was paved on Williams, Frontage Rd, Blodgett from 63rd to 59th, and Blodgett from 55th to Randall. Springside, Jefferson, and George were milled.
Friday 8/16, asphalt driveways will be replaced on both Blodgett streets, Williams, and Frontage Road. Saturday, 8/17, surface asphalt will be paved on both Blodgetts, 61st St, and Randall from Fairmount to Blodgett. Next week, concrete work will finish on Lyman, Washington, and Randall and is expected to continue to Elmore, Lee, and Bending Oaks Ct. Surface paving is expected to be placed on Williams and Frontage Rd.
This week, the asphalt surface of the roads were milled on Williams, Frontage Rd, and Blodgett from 59th to 62nd. In addition, concrete was poured on Blodgett Ave from 55th to Randall. Saturday, August 3rd, the contractor is planning on pouring the curb on Randall, between Blodgett and Fairmount, as well as completing the road patching on Williams, Frontage Rd, and Blodgett from 59th to 62nd. Concrete removals are expected to continue the week of 8/5/19 on Fairmount Ave and Lyman Ave. Road grinding the week of 8/5/19 is expected to continue on Blodgett from 55th to Randall.
This week, concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveway aprons were poured on Williams, Frontage Rd, Blodgett (59th to 63rd) and Blodgett (55th to Randall). The road on Williams will be milled on Tuesday, 7/30/19. The weeks of 7/29 & 8/05, grinding, patching, and the first layer of asphalt will follow on Frontage Rd, Blodgett (59th to 63rd), Blodgett (55th to Randall), and tentatively Dunham and 71st St. Concrete removals are expected to continue at the end of next week on Fairmount and Randall. "No Parking" signs were inadvertently posted in areas of the project that have not yet been notified of work. Letters have been mailed to the affected residents to provide additional information of the upcoming work.
Saw cutting work continued on Dunham Rd, Oxnard Ave, Stonewall Ave, Blodgett (from 59th to 63rd), and Second Street. Concrete removals began on Williams on 7/16, and on the 75th St Frontage Rd on 7/16. Concrete will be poured on Williams on 7/18, 7/19, and 7/22. Concrete removals are expected to begin on the 75th St Frontage Rd and Blodgett (from 59th to 63rd) on Monday, 7/22. Residents whose driveway access will be affected will receive additional correspondence from the Village with alternative parking information and scheduling. Following concrete work on Blodgett, the streets where concrete will be removed next will be Dunham, 71st, Powell Ct, Oxnard, and Stonewall.

Next week, concrete removals are expected to begin in the areas that have been sawcut.
