Transportation and Parking Commission - 7:00 p.m. - Council Chambers

  • Approval of minutes from the January 12, 2022 meeting
  • File #2-22 Summit Street at Blodgett Avenue - Intersection Control; Staff is initiating this request in response to a Traffic Calming Petition received for the intersection of Summit Street at Blodgett Avenue. A staff report has been prepared and letters were distributed to residents in this neighborhood notifying them of the discussion. Staff is recommending a change in intersection control. A recommendation to the Village Council is requested.
  • File #3-22 Cross Street Corridor - Weight Limit; Staff is initiating this request in response to a Traffic Calming Petition received for the Cross Street Corridor. A staff report has been prepared and letters were distributed to residents in this neighborhood notifying them of the discussion. Staff is recommending a weight limit for this corridor. A recommendation to the Village Council is requested.
  • File #4-22 Rogers Street at Highland Avenue - Intersection Control; Staff is initiating this request in response to a resident concern with the existing intersection control at the intersection of Rogers Street and Highland Avenue. A staff report has been prepared and letters were distributed to residents in this neighborhood notifying them of the discussion. Staff is recommending a change in intersection control. A recommendation to the Village Council is requested.
  • File #5-22 Victor Street at 4th Street - Crosswalk Striping and Signage; Staff is initiating this request in response to a resident concern for pedestrian safety related to school children at the intersection of Victor Street and 4th Street. A staff report has been prepared and letters were distributed to residents in this neighborhood notifying them of the discussion. Staff is recommending the addition of crosswalk striping and signage. A recommendation to the Village Council is requested.
  • File #6-22 Fairmount Avenue at 68th Street and at Oxford Street - Intersection Control;  Staff is initiating this request in response to a Traffic Calming Petition received for the intersections of Fairmount Avenue at 68th Street and at Oxford Street. A staff report has been prepared and letters were distributed to residents in this neighborhood notifying them of the discussion. Staff is recommending a change in intersection control. A recommendation to the Village Council is requested.
  • File #7-22 72nd Street at Blackburn Avenue - Intersection Control; Staff is initiating this request in response to a resident concern with the existing intersection control at the intersection of 72nd Street at Blackburn Avenue. A staff report has been prepared and letters were distributed to residents in this neighborhood notifying them of the discussion. Staff is recommending a change in intersection control. A recommendation to the Village Council is requested.
