Police Investigate Suspicious Incident

On Thursday, July 29, 2021 at approximately 9:00 p.m., the Downers Grove Police Department responded to a report of an attempted burglary to a first floor apartment in the 5700 block of Walnut Avenue. The suspect in this incident was described as a Black man, approximately 25-30 years of age, 5'09" to 5'11" tall and wearing a light colored shirt and black knit hat, holding what appeared to be a pry tool in his hand. Read more...
