Public Safety Agencies Partner for Training

The Downers Grove Fire and Police Departments recently completed four weeks of intense training at Midwestern University, 555 31st Street, in Downers Grove. Village Receives Distinguished Budget Award

Village Moves To Invigorate Historic Preservation

The Village Council established the Architectural Design Review Board (ADRB) Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Historic Preservation at the July 21, 2015, meeting. Seven subcommittee members have been appointed to work with the existing ADRB members. The goal of the subcommittee is to increase the number of properties designated as landmarks and districts under the Historic Preservation Ordinance. Read more...
